The Roman Quarters and Adeiso Districts on that Church of Pentecost has launched a Weeklong campaign to protect and care for the environment yesterday, February 24,2020 at the Central Auditorium.

The Campaign which is a National programme initiated by the Church seek to create awareness of the need for Ghanaians to be sanitation- conscious as well as protect our water bodies,land and the forest reserve since they were created by God for a purpose.

Speaking on the need to protect God’s creation,Elder Philip Duvor based on Genesis 1:27-28 and Psalm 24:1 to advise members of the Church and cautioned them against land,water and air pollution.
“When we degrade farmlands with the excessive use of agro-chemicals,next generation will come and meet nothing but infertile lands.Diseases like cholera,guinea worm infections, kidney infections, respiratory diseases some of the consequences of water and air pollutions”,he reiterated.

Talk on God’s creation, floating, environmental protection stakeholders’ meeting,clean up exercise are all lined up programmes and activities as part of the Campaign.

Present at the Launch were Pastor Isaac Ekow Eshun,the Area Head for Asamankese,Pastor Arko-Larbi, District Pastor for Adeiso,Pastor Victor Asante Ayim, District Pastor for Roman Quarters,Elders,Deacons and Deaconesses and numerous members of both Districts.

The Church aspires to train,coach and guide their members to become exemplary citizens and agents of transformation.
