Former Ghana captain, Wilberforce Kwadwo Mfum has said the Ghana Premier League should be continued and must not be canceled.
Ghana Premier League has been suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic since the month of March 2020.
The former Ghanaian international has also joined the numerous calls for the continuation for the season to end fairly and declare the champion.
Burkina Faso reportedly cancel their league yesterday without no winner and no relegation team.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has given Tuesday 5 May 2020 as deadline to all the associations to decide whether to continue their league or not.
According to Wilberforce, the league should be continue.
“I think we should wait for about some two months to see how this pandemic era will go. Then if everything is okay we should continue the Ghana Premier League to see the winner.”
He told Adeiso-based Tru Fm on their Sports Light Show.
